Chaya Harash, MSW has over 25 years of experience in family, couples, children and divorce therapy. She integrates Strategic Paradoxical and Solution Focused principles in therapy and applied them in creating Earthquake in Zipland: the world’s first research-based computer game designed to help kids deal with divorce and separation. Chaya specialized in Family Therapy at the Ackerman Institute for the Family in NYC and is a PAIRS (Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills) International Leader.
Hazel Zemel has an MSW, CSW, RSW and is an accredited family therapist and supervisor. She has over 30 years of experience in family, couples, children and divorce and mediation therapy. She has served on the faculty of Bar Ilan University School of Social Work. She was the director of two Couple and Family Therapy Centers for 20 years. She is currently working and living in Toronto, Canada.
Dr. Richman received an M.A. and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology in from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver Canada. He studied and trained extensively in experiential psychotherapy, gestalt therapy, behavioral therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples and families. Dr. Richman’s research focused on primary prevention of disordered eating, psychoacoustics, and forensic psychology. Dr. Richman has lectured and led numerous workshops on a wide variety of topics in the areas of psychology, psychotherapy, and natural healing. Dr. Richman provides psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, couples, and families. He works with children with ADHD, school-related problems, behavioral difficulties, and children who experience difficulty dealing with their parents’ separation and divorce. In addition to consulting with parents about how to best cope with and relate to their children, Dr. Richman conducts dynamic parent groups based on a model called “conscious parenting”. He has actively practiced psychology for the past 15 years. Dr. Richman is also a Zipland Parenting Consultant for Earthquake in Zipland. Elizabeth Einstein, MA/LMFT is a Marriage & Family Therapist in Ithaca, NY. As one of America’s leaders in stepfamily education, she has written books and training programs to strengthen stepfamilies. Her newest book, Strengthening Your Stepfamily, was released last year. This month her new video-based “teach out of the box” Active Parenting for Stepfamilies, co-authored with Dr. Michael Popkin, a parenting expert is to be released February 2007 (Active Parenting).
